Small Bowl with a Wide, Flat Rim

Size (width x height): 5-1/8" x 2"

Glazing*: Fully dipped in oatmeal, then the rim was angle-dipped in tomato red at three different places.

This was a very early piece whose sides grew too thin to support themselves as I tried to make a flare.
I let them flatten out, and supported them with crumpled newsprint while they dried.
The middle portion of the bowl's wall is very thick, so I impressed it with a piece of stone that looks like petrified coral.

*Note that glazes are identified by the names used in the Santa Fe College Pottery Studio; they are not universally recognized glaze names.
